Author Payments
Article Processing Charge (APC)
The Journal adheres to the principles of open access and international standards of publication ethics. To ensure the sustainable operation of the editorial office and maintain a high quality of scholarly publications, an Article Processing Charge (APC) is applied.
The Journal’s editorial policy, in full compliance with international standards of research integrity, strictly excludes any influence of payment on publication decisions. Acceptance or rejection of a manuscript is based solely on the results of independent peer review and the scholarly merit of the research.
The Editorial Board does not charge an APC for manuscripts that receive a “Reject” recommendation from reviewers. In such cases, the Journal bears the costs associated with editorial services, including:
- receipt and registration of manuscripts;
- initial screening for compliance with the Journal’s requirements;
- selection of peer reviewers;
- organization of the peer-review process;
- communication of review results to authors.
APC Amount
The Article Processing Charge is applied only after a manuscript has been formally accepted for publication.
The APC is:
60,000 (sixty thousand) Kazakhstani tenge per accepted article.
- The APC is the same for all authors, regardless of country, institutional affiliation, or academic status.
- No fee is charged for rejected manuscripts.
Payment may be made in Kazakhstani tenge, euros, or US dollars. When payment is made in a foreign currency, the amount is calculated based on the equivalent of 60,000 tenge according to the official exchange rate on the date of payment.
The publication fee may be paid either by the organization funding the research or by the author.
Purpose of the APC
The fee established by the Journal for processing and reviewing manuscripts is not intended to generate profit. All funds are used exclusively to cover editorial and publishing expenses.
These expenses include:
- scientific and technical editing;
- layout design and preparation of materials for publication;
- organization of the peer-review process;
- maintenance of the Journal’s electronic platform;
- administrative and operational costs of the editorial office.
Thus, the established APC serves to ensure the sustainable functioning of the Journal and to enhance the quality of scholarly publications.
Important Information
- The Editorial Board communicates directly with authors and does not use intermediaries.
- Any offers of publication through third parties for an additional fee are illegitimate.
- In the event of non-payment for an accepted article, the Editorial Board reserves the right to cancel publication.
